Hello beautiful Bride to be!
I'm Veronica, creator and hair artist of Something Blue Bridal Updo®. How did I come up with my bridal business name?? Well, I named it after my blue bobby pin I incorporate within every brides' style. It is my signature touch to my brides on their special day. When a bride's day is through, brides can find their blue bobby pin and place it back on their keepsake card to cherish forever. I am honored to have been providing brides with their Something Blue since 2016.
I have been in the beauty industry for over 16 years and creating beautiful formal styles & updos has always been a passion of mine. It is important to me that my Brides feel comfortable, relaxed and worry free with their wedding day look. I specialize in creating a captivating, flawless hairstyle that accentuates your natural beauty.
I know that the right hairstyle can make all the difference in the way you feel, the way you photograph, and the way you remember a special day. That is why brides trust me when it really counts. I will provide a quality, long lasting, flawless, experience, using my many years of education and knowledge to provide you with complete customer satisfaction. Leaving you feeling your most beautiful and special for your day.
I am married to the love of my life and have a beautiful three year old daughter. Among my passion for hair and weddings, I love traveling, experiencing new adventures, antique shopping and vintage cars.

When should I book my hair preview?
We recommend planning your trial 1-3 months prior to your wedding date
Should my hair be clean or dirty?
Please arrive for your styling with CLEAN HAIR. "Day Old" hair is perfectly fine as long as there is no heavy products in the hair that would make if difficult to style such as heavy gels/mousse or excess hairspray. If the hair is greasy, the style will look greasy. The rule of thumb is if you think your hair needs dry shampoo, it is too dirty. The oils from dirty hair can cause the hair to burn from the heat of a curling iron and cause the style to not last
Are you licensed?
Yes, I have been a licensed Cosmetologist in the state of Michigan for over 16 years and have continued my education through bridal courses, workshops and beauty shows
