Hello, My name is Veronica Birtles. I am the owner and hair artist of Something Blue Bridal Updo.  I named my business after the single blue bobby pin I incorporate in all my Bride's updos as my "Something Blue" gift to you. I have been in the beauty industry for over 14 years and creating beautiful formal styles & updos has always been a passion of mine. I have had the pleasure of working with so many beautiful Brides in the past and every one of them special and unique. It is important to me that all of my Brides feel comfortable, relaxed and worry free with your wedding day look.

I am married to the love of my life and have a beautiful one and a half year old daughter. Among my passion for hair and weddings, I love traveling, experiencing new adventures, antique shopping and vintage cars.

The owner Veronica was amazing to work with. She's extremely organized, and created a timeline for my wedding party of 10 girls, and stuck to it perfectly! I was never stressed out about hair getting finished, and everyone's hair looked PERFECT! I would definitely recommend The "Something Borrowed" package, each girl received a bridesmaid/bride pouch emergency touch up kit with their hairstyle, which came in handy throughout the day and also served as a great gift!!

Veronica was amazing during my trail hair appointments and on the day of my wedding! She has an amazing, outgoing personality that made my entire bridal party (including me) enjoy the whole experience to the fullest. Her attention to detail and genuine thoughtfulness went above and beyond what I could have possibly expected. She stayed the day of the wedding for as long as I needed her to make any hair adjustments before we started pictures (and even hung around for the first few). Veronica made it very clear that I was her number one priority and was not going to leave until I felt 100% comfortable. She also sent super nice texts the day of the wedding (and hair trails) saying how excited she was for me and toblet me know she was on her way. I could not have asked for a better hair stylist on my wedding day! Highly recommend! Thanks so much again Veronica!!

Veronica is the best! She was very easy to communicate with throughout the entire process and made everything stress free! Her little touches of personalization make her a must have for brides not to mention her great personality! She did my hair as well as six bridesmaids and they all absolutely loved it! Each up do was done efficiently and stayed in all night. We all got several compliments and pics look awesome! Can’t say enough good things- I reccomend to all my bride friends!!
